- Heat grill to medium. Combine 3/4 lb ground pork, 4 oz diced smoked bacon, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper until well blended. Form into four 3-inch patties. Grill 5 minutes, flip, add a slice of American cheese to each burger and grill 5 more minutes, until cooked (145 degrees ). Meanwhile, slice 4 English muffins in half and, during last minute, grill cut sides down. Remove burgers and muffins from grill and cover loosely with foil. Fry 4 eggs in 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil over medium-high for 2 minutes. Season with 1/8 tsp each salt and black pepper. Place each burger on a muffin half, then add egg and top muffin half.
